Filling MachinesFully Automatic & Semi Automatic :Canadian Clear Is One Of The Member Of The Canadian Clear Group Of Companies

Filling MachinesFully Automatic & Semi Automatic :Canadian Clear is one of the member of the Canadian Clear Group of Companies. Canadian Clear has incorporated the state of art technology in design engineering of filling machines being manufactured. CC 600 fully automatic filling and capping machine and semi automatic rinsing is specially designed by Canadian Clear for mineral water bottles and carbonated beverages. The entire process has provisions in the filling machines for rinsing, filling, capping and sealing. The entire process is controlled by a PLC with sensor Controls with one touch instrumentation systems. The whole equipment is sleek and is capable of bottling various sizes of bottles ranging from 200 ml to 2 ltrs. The mineral water pet bottles / carbonated mineral water bottles are fed into the Input Feed Conveyor of the CC600 after manually rinsing them in the semi automatic rinser. The bottles go automatically on the conveyor to the filling station. Optic Sensor senses the bottles and allows only required amount of bottles to enter the filling station. Special pneumatic robo's hold the bottles by the neck and body prior to the filling heads descending into the bottles. The filling is very accurate and is done by the neck and body prior to the filling heads descending into the bottles. The filling is very accurate and is done by specially designed CC316 – 3 way filling machines. Filling system is incorporated alternatively for counter pressure as well as volumetric filling. The filled bottles then go to a cap pickup system where they pick up caps before being capped in the capping station. A special vibratory cap feeder provides proper orientation to the caps. The capped bottles are then send out to the discharge conveyor. The entire process is fully mechanical with variable speed drive and gravity / counter pressure filling system. The total system is manufactured under technology transfer and technical collaboration from US Microcon Inc. California U.S.A. The whole equipment is sleek and is capable of bottling various sizes of bottles ranging from 500 ml to 2 ltrs. The mineral water bottles are fed into the rotary rinser, filler, capper by means of an input feed conveyor. A star wheel then transfers the bottle to the neck holding robot of the rinsing station. The rinsing robot indexes the bottle l80 and activates the rinsing valve. Bottles after being rinsed are automatically transferred by a star wheel to the filling station. In the filling station the bottles are picked up by the neck and are allocated individual filling valves. The state of art filling valve is so precise and accurate it gives even filling in all bottles. The filled bottles are then transferred to the capping station via a star wheel. The bottles automatically move for the capping stage where the caps release from the vibrator on to the bottles. The caps are sealed automatically using special capping heads. The CC 1000 -60 Rotary is an unique bottling filling machine with in built High - Tech features. 'No bottle no wash, no bottle no fill and no bottle no cap' are the standard features of the CC 1000 -60 Rotary. The entire system is enclosed in a stainless steel / glass outer casing. After the capping stage the bottles are automatically ejected out to the out feed conveyor.Optional Features : Shrink Labeller is provided on the output conveyor.Ozone Jets to disinfect caps. Filling Machines are designed either for carbonated or non-carbonated liquids.

Optical computing could benefit from new 'whispering gallery' fiber (Engadget)

It's a spooky feature of Grand Central Station that if you whisper something
against the wall, your voice can resonate around the perimeter of the building
and sneak up on you from behind. The same 'whispering gallery' principle is
crucial to next-gen optical computing: light signals have to be sent on
extremely circuitous journeys through 'microresonators', which temporarily
bottle up the beams and thereby serve as memory.

So far, microresonators have generally been made from silicon wafers etched
with the a long series of loops. However, even the most precise etching leaves
imperfections, which quickly cause the signal to lose its strength and fade
away. Now, researchers at OFS Laboratories in Somerset, N. J., have come up
with a different type of microresonator that could potentially hold onto light
100 times longer.

The new technology diverts light onto a stretch of optic fiber that has been
specially manufactured with tiny step-changes in its diameter. When the signal
hits this abrupt change, it reverses and goes back the opposite way -- and, if
it hits another diameter change, it will effectively enter a whispering
gallery _inside_ the fiber, bouncing up and down with only minor attenuation.
The OFS ...
