Trend Goddess Guidelines - Cocktail Dresses For Any Weather

It is cloudy.  It is windy.  There's a tornado.  It is a 100 degrees and humid.  What an excellent day for a party.  My Fashion Goddess Rule # 23 is -- fancy shalt not outweigh comfort.  Make sure you own or invest in a sturdy selection of Cocktail Dresses for every climate.

Cloudy/Overcast

If you feel pretty assured it isn't going to rain, opt for a warm color or happy pattern.  Photographers and film directors actually favor cloudy and overcast weather because the lights are more complementing for all skin tones and kinds.  You'll want to capitalize for this.  Night Moves' cocktails dresses are vivacious.  Cloudy with a chance of fabulousness!

Rainy

I can't stress this enough: if rain is incorporated in the weather prediction on the nights your event, wear black.  Should you don white it will likely be destroyed and if you wear a color, you'll risk the dye bleeding throughout everything.  You will need a true black, something that will not look wet and will not show areas if you've found yourself caught in a downpour.

Hot & Humid

When it is hot and humid, you will merely be relaxed in close to nothing.  Whatever you don it should be strapless, short, and lightweight.  It ought to be uncomplicated, quick to get into, and simple to leave.

Do not make the blunder of donning something fancy.  Sequins are out.  And so are lots of gems.  These types of accessories, although lovely, will think that a layer of armor in humid and hot climate.

Surprisingly, I recommend donning a short dress when it is windy.  It should however be tight fitting.

A lengthy dress will cloak you in an excessive amount of moveable fabric.  You will end up struggling to wander, stumbling all over yourself.   While a short, moving dress may inflate and…uh oh.

In a collection of Tony Bowls cocktail dresses, I selected a turquoise hip hugger (#TS21044).  It's got an asymmetrical 3/4-inch sleeve for added warmth.

Cold But Clear

Conceal as much as possible.  Opt for earthy and velvety hues.  I saved a page from a Jasz cocktail dresses catalog having a mile long, eggplant dazzler (#4067).  I additionally uncovered a good example from Precious Formals cocktail dresses.  An Elizabethan gown in purple passion (#P44132).

Cold & Snowing

Conceal much more!  And trust me when I say, just forget about anything dark.  If you've ever been trapped in the snow putting on something black, you know the reason.  Dried out snow on black clothes can escape up into a dirty, salty mess.

And while you're at it, ex out anything white.  To start with, if it is snowing, it is usually post-Labor Day and you know better than that.  If you discover some Terani cocktail dresses, go for style #95013P.  It's ice blue and you will feel swaddled in eons of fabric.

Perfect Weather

You might be wondering the reason why there is a class for perfect weather.  Can't you wear anything?  Yes, mostly.  When the weather is ideal, you're ready to party.
